Friday's Finds

via
Made it! Another week down, another two days to kick back. Here are the few finds that I've saved for some Friday minutes.
aesop
1Post poo drops. You read right. Aesop (the skin care range of brilliance) collaborated with A.P.C. to serve up their answer to combating the malodorous!

2. Top DIY beauty tricks and 8 DIY Facials to choose from and transform you skin into glowing yumminiess.

3. This tumblr is where my ooh-ing and aaah-ing has been happening through the week. If you were to smack a label on my style, food, scent and abode, this'd be it (minus the cigarettes)!

Have a great couple of days doing whatever it is that tickles your fancy, lovely lot. x

What I wore // the things I did

"I should stop talking," is what this photo tells me...

I don't usually do the "what I wore" kinda post, but this time I was a little inspired (and unprepared) after coming across a run down white wall. My outfit is nothing groundbreaking (I know), but it was the perfect addition to a slow-paced public holiday (and that white-wall canvas I fell in love with).

The day was as good as they get. My morning hours were spent brunching over strong coffee followed by the sweetest walk through autumn leaf-lined streets. Yeah, there was some penny-spending (again...ehm) that took place at this store I told you about in this post (also where I got my buttery soft leather!). The best bit was when these threads took me through to the evening hours. My boy and I got the chance to break our commitments and escape to the basics - good food, good laughs and red wine at a tucked away bar in the Adelaide Hills.

The only threads to stand up to all that relaxation and sudden inspiration was my silky soft leather teamed with comfortable navy stripes. What's your outfit option for a day of relaxing walks, laughs and good food?

Friday's Finds

via
It's Friday and I have more stuff for you to kick back to. Enjoy!

via
1. These James Perse Pacific Stripes!
I snapped up the maxi-skirt version from this all-time-favourite store (I cannot walk into without buying some kind of beautiful threads, leather or homeware!).
It's a summer staple, but I'm hanging to team it with boots and a knit in these cooler days.

via
2. DIY Burt's Bees Lip Balm. The recipe has been tested by this lady.
Now we can make our own, natural lip balm. Worth it!

via
3. Momo Suzuki is the elegantly styled lady behind the perfectly pared down line, Black Crane - perfection in my eyes (like magnets for minimal, simple, clean lines).
Her closet is just as amazing. Take a snoop!

Can I just take a sec to say "Thank you" and "I'm so appreciative of my lovely bunch of wonderful readers (you) that stop by, follow this little blog of mine and leave wonderfully thoughtful comments. Means so much!" xo

I hope you're all set for a great weekend ahead! I'm looking forward to getting into another
less-planned, less-scheduled couple of days that I'm keen to fill with starting to paint my new canvas (procrastination is over!) and getting my toes through a few hours of ballet.
You?

Friday's Finds

Friday's links-to-the-rescue couldn't come sooner, huh?

1. If you have less plans and more time on your hands this weekend, Check out how to update the old wicker basket into something pretty DIY fabulous.
2. Thank goodness for this collection of vintage vogue covers!

3. So I don't have any bambinos of my own, but I do have enough rugrats from family and friends crawling around the place to know a good outfit when I see one. For the littlies that is. Oeuf's new range is all over the cuteness thing with and extra quirky-something. Check it out..

See you on the other side of the weekend!

Friday's finds

via
I'm back and can't wait to share the unbelievable week away that the boy and I have wrapped tightly in our memories. After spending our days driving along Tasmania's coastlines, sitting behind a corporate desk is seeing me fidget and pen-click my way through to the 5pm hurdle. Maybe these few finds will see the seconds tick a little faster for us all?

1. If, like me, you crave anything chevron too, you should check out this DIY. Till now I've had less than a glowing success rate with creating a perfectly aligned chevron. Look out house...chabby-chic-chevron-love is coming your way!

2. If you're affraid of your unintelligable expressions like "!!!!!!!" being lost in translation by people who have not a clue what you're on about, send them to ohhhhhhhhh.co.uk for a helping hand.

3. There's a chilly weekend ahead in my neck of the woods and I've now decided the stovetop will be steaming away with this "from scratch" Tom Yum soup.
