Bring on the glittery goods

via
It's Friday and this blog has seen it's 50th follower jump on board for all the fun. I'll admit I haven't been the most serious and proactive of bloggers since starting (but always had the right intentions to be). Recently,  though, seems some kind of blog-bug bit me. It's sent me giddy in picking up my pace and getting caught up in all the fun of meeting a whole new bunch of wonderfully inspiring blogging ladies and taking part in a few contributions here and there. Great thing (for me) is there's plenty more of the good stuff to come. Must also send out a little note of thanks to my modestly numbered little gang of followers. Thanks to all those who stop by to take a sec and read about my random finds and rambles. Here's to that and these next few links to get us skating to the weekend a tad quicker.

1. Talking all things Celebration, now is the perfect time to introduce you to a great find Meimei paperie. This US based company uses their stationary and paper good powers to take a wedding or celebration to another level with some more-ish design. No, it's not edible but might as well be!

2. I have a growing wish-list of prints from the artists at Society6 and now they've got me again with their art for the wee ones. These are the cutest of prints and something that the bambino bearers can be proud to hang too!

3. My weekend will be all about some me-time and painting my way through a few hours inspired by the  freedom of colour use from street artist Nuria Mora.

Don't get dull

via

I'll admit that just before I saw this I muttered "If it weren't for making my peppermint leaf tea (my morning ritual), I'd be soooo bored!"

Fact is, a corporate desk can often kick the joys out of you. So to spark things up in my days, I make my way through these beautifully packaged herbal goodies.  I can't possibly settle for the thought that I might be boring and thanks to these guys, I'll never have to mumble those words again for as long as I sit behind a desk.

T2, the Melbourne based tea label, is carrying on taking out the heavy-weights in tea-land...and brand ID!  Of course their quality leaves are taking them places, but I'm carrying on with a few hurrahs for their simple and effective design and packaging. The perfect remedy to fight the boredom pains through the day. Emergency supplies available through their online store too. What's your survival kit filled with to see you through the work hour slumps?

Friday's Frock

via
Dennison Bertram snapped model Dimphy Janse for the Marie Claire India feature shoot "From Paris With Love" sporting the 'classics' of the fashion industry's current trends. Making printed pyjama-esque and floral pants seem like timeless wardrobe essentials, the shoot gives a firm nod to the elegant and feminine direction fashion designers are embracing again.

Here's to a wonderful weekend! I'd be interested to read your thoughts on my new blog format too. After some thinking on whether or not to make the switch to WordPress, I think I'm right sticking to blogger...

O'Clock

via
I know these wrist additions have been around a little while now but I still find some people stumped with how (and where) I got my hands on my very own rubbery timepiece. Excuse me while I indulge in a little memory of the purchase down Melbourne's Degraves lane one arvo. It comes as a good time to mention how I've been getting all too sentimental about my jam-packed couple of years spent there. A visit back to the town in the next few weeks will be the perfect little escape!

Back to the point, the Italian design and Italian make of the O'Clock timepieces does the trick, it seems. These colourful extras are statement-makers in their own right yet perfectly subtle enough to be worn at the dreariest of corporate desks...I like to think so anyway. Check out the range and the new additions and keep the link in your favourites. They're ideal gift ideas for the one who has it all...or the one that want's another colour (hint!) x

Very French Gangsters

via
Karoline Bothorel-Bolzinger and Anne Masanet teamed their talents and developed Very French Gangsters. This super duper cute line of kids French eyewear is the first to combine comfort and style and the only brand to create a universe of nice gangsters. Without sounding like a brat, I'm holding out hope that these ladies bring out a line for us above-10-year-olds...I want my peepers framed with their own Very Pan Pan Paris specs!

Tell me who's uphill battle with a Thursday morning alarm clock couldn't do with a sneaky little boost like this?

Reach for the stars

via

I think I've found a happy medium: to bring leather lovers and nature huggers to a united circle of hand-holds and peace chants. Since 2006, Clare Vivier has produced the goods that marry French glamour with LA cool. The best news is that Vivier's design is as good as her social conscience, focusing without compromise on ethical manufacturing processes. Even better news is word of the collaboration between Vivier and Wren. This pairing gives a nod to timelessness with a beautifully soft, buttery leather exterior, lined with a bold aesthetic kick of Wren's celestial print. Available to us in Green or Cognac leather for $350. Need some more creative kicks and the rest of this write up to pass by the last few work hours? Swing by here.
